About Abu Arish
Abu Arish is a community in the south west of Saudi Arabia, part of Jazan Province. Before the new plant, tankers were discharging into a man-made lagoon approximately 25 km away from the city.
Abu Arish STP
Abu Arish STP is designed to receive waste water by tanker discharge from the surrounding community. MENA-Water provided the complete design for the 1,000 m³/day MBR-based plant.
Scope of Work
MENA-Water provided design, supply, installation and commissioning.
FK & Partner Co. is operating and fully responsible for O&M of the complete plant.
Plant includes screening, grit removal, aeration, MBR system and is operated by PLC.
