About Khurais
Khurais is located around 250 km southwest of Dhahran, with an area of 2,890 km². The Khurais development was the largest of several Saudi Aramco projects intended to boost the production capacity of Saudi Arabia's oilfields.
Nano Filtration Plant — KhNFP
FK & Partner Co. with its partners (IE-Consult & H2O Tech) designed the plant as requested by the client to remove sulphate with a capacity of 9,000 CMD treated effluent. To ease mobilization, the plant is designed to be portable.
Scope of Work
IE-Consult provided the complete design for the plant and engineering solution.
FK & Partner Co. provided all civil and mechanical work, storage tanks, drying beds and safety equipment.
The entire plant is operated by PLC with online monitoring 24/7. Startup was in October 2016.
