Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant BOO at JTTF — Saudi Aramco
After the success of the BOO Project in JTTF I, Saudi Aramco's JTTF requested contract renewal and an increase of capacity. A new line was established in the previous water treatment plant to accommodate the increase of treatment capacity. The expansion and modification of the plant was done in a one-month period without affecting the treatment operation and the quality.
The treatment plant is designed to process wastewater from the JTTF evaporation ponds to ensure it meets the required standards for marine discharge, irrespective of variations in feed water quality within the ponds. The selected design capacity is 500 m³/day of treated wastewater for safe disposal. The old line treated 250 m³/day of wastewater, and the new line treated another 250 m³/day.
IE-Consult provided the complete design for the industrial wastewater treatment plant, along with full engineering support and project management services for the installation, commissioning, and startup of the entire system. The execution of this project was assigned to FK & Partner Co. by the client, Saudi Aramco.
FK & Partner Co. provided and supplied Pre-treatment Container, Advanced Treatment Container, Dosing Container, and Electrical control cabinet. Also provided all the civil and mechanical work, Stripping tank, portable Lab, generator sets and all the safety equipment.
