Relocating Water Treatment Pilot Plant — JTTF R&D II
A relocated and redesigned R&D pilot at Juaymah running three parallel produced-water streams — constructed wetland, conventional oily wastewater, and RSL membrane. A pilot programme, transparently labelled.
A relocated and redesigned pilot plant testing produced-water treatment across three parallel streams — constructed wetland, conventional oily-wastewater, and RSL membrane — as a controlled platform to assess performance and reliability for full-scale selection.
FK & Partner Co. delivered the complete design, installation, and commissioning, then operated the 25 m³/day pilot to assess performance, reliability, and treatment efficiency for full-scale selection.
Continue the produced-water technology evaluation on a relocatable platform, structured into three distinct treatment streams for clearer comparison.
- Three parallel streams to compare
- Relocatable for flexible field trials
- Pilot scale — 25 m³/day
A treatment train sequenced to the contaminants.
Stream one is a constructed-wetland pilot; stream two conventional oily-wastewater treatment with cyclone OWS and de-oiler; stream three RSL membranes for TSS reduction, with nano-filtration for sulfate removal across the platform.
| Equipment / parameter | Application / value |
|---|---|
| Nano-Filtration | Sulphate removal |
| Constructed Wetland | Heavy-metal removal |
| RSL Membrane | TSS reduction |
