Wastewater Treatment Facilities SDS 2 — Jizan Refinery
A higher-flow treatment system for pretreated wastewater from Basins A and B at Jizan Refinery, bringing it within the existing Water Treatment Plant inflow limits — up to 100 m³/hr, 275,000 m³ total.
A higher-capacity treatment system for pretreated wastewater from Basins A and B, handling up to 100 m³/hr to bring it within the refinery WWTP inflow-quality requirements, supplied as a complete pipelines-and-instrumentation system.
FK & Partner Co. and Water Technology Company (W-Tech) supplied and installed an oil-water separator (up to 10,000 ppm oil at ≤ 100 m³/hr), DAF, multi-media filtration, sulfide-scavenger dosing, and activated carbon, with all pipelines and instrumentation as a complete system; IE-Consult led the design.
Pretreated wastewater in Basins A and B had to be brought within the inflow-quality limits of the refinery’s existing Water Treatment Plant, at a flow up to 100 m³/hr — five times the SDS-1 rate.
- Higher flow — up to 100 m³/hr
- Meet existing WTP inflow quality
- 275,000 m³ total volume
A treatment train sequenced to the contaminants.
The same proven sequence as SDS-1 — cyclone oil-water separation, DAF, multi-media filtration, sulfide-scavenger dosing, and activated carbon — scaled to a 100 m³/hr separator duty.
| Equipment / parameter | Application / value |
|---|---|
| Oil-Water Separator | 100 m³/hr cyclone |
| DAF | Coagulation / flotation |
| MM Filter | TSS removal |
| Total volume | 275,000 m³ |
| Capacity | 100 m³/hr (275,000 m³ total) |
| Project type | Industrial wastewater treatment (Phase 2) |
