Containerized Oily-Water Treatment — Duba & Tabuk Bulk Plant
A rapidly deployed containerised plant treating oily water that seeped into a newly built sump at Duba Bulk Plant, to meet government limits before marine disposal.
When a new sump at Duba Bulk Plant seeped oily water into the excavation, FKP delivered a containerized modular plant — assembled in standard 40-foot containers for rapid deployment — to treat the industrial oily water safely for marine discharge.
A new 11 × 8 × 6.5 m sump built by Rawabi Butec experienced oily-water seepage ~3 m deep, needing an urgent compliant solution. IE-Consult proposed a containerised modular plant; Water Technology Company (W-Tech) assembled it in standard 40-ft containers for rapid deployment.
Oily water seeping into a fresh excavation at ~3 m depth demanded an urgent, transportable treatment solution that meets government regulation before marine disposal.
- Urgent response to active seepage
- Government limits before marine disposal
- Remote bulk-plant site
A treatment train sequenced to the contaminants.
A gravity oil-water separator (3 × 50 m³/hr) takes the first cut, DAF removes suspended solids and residual oil, FRP sand filtration and cartridge filtration polish, and an ultrafiltration module (75 m³/hr) finishes — all assembled in three 40-ft containers for fast mobilisation.
