Duba & Tabuk Bulk Plant — Containerized Oily Water Treatment

About Duba Bulk Plant

A newly constructed sump (11m x 8m x 6.5m) by Rawabi Butec at Duba Bulk Plant (DBP) — Saudi Aramco, experienced oily water seep into the excavation at a depth of about 3 m. Therefore, an urgent solution was needed to treat this oily water and meet Government Regulation before marine disposal.

Containerized Oily Water Treatment — DBP

Innovative Engineering Consulting (IE-Consult) office, an affiliate of FK & Partner Co. (FKP), proposed a containerized modular water treatment plant solution for safe and efficient treatment of the DBP industrial oily water for discharge to the marine environment. Water Tech Co. for Environmental Services (W-Tech Co) fully assembled the treatment plant in standard 40ft containers.

Scope of Work

FKP & IE-Consult: Water quality analysis, technical proposal, plant design, equipment supply, piping, electrical, civil work, commissioning and startup.

W-Tech Co.: Fiberglass oil separator construction, process tanks, pump skids, and containerized treatment plant assembly.
