Baish is located in the Kingdom’s southwest region, and in 2014, Saudi Aramco began constructing the Jazan Refinery Plant and Terminal in Baish. The facilities form the industrial heart of the government’s greater Jazan Economic City project.
During development and construction of this project, a WW treatment concept was required. The centralized WWTP JCSTP is designed to receive domestic WW through tanker trucks from Aramco contractor’s camps.
IE-Consult provided the complete design for the plant and provided engineering solution and project management for installation and commissioning startup for the complete plant which was assigned to FK & Partner Co by the client of this project (Saudi Aramco) .
FK & Partner Co provided all the civil and mechanical work, Storage tanks for treated water and sludge, including drying beds for sludge dewatering are completing the treatment. The entire plant is operated by PLC and observed through an online monitoring system 24h x 7d. The Startup of this plant was in October 2016.
